Meet Monsignor Dale R. Rupert


Monsignor Rupert was born and raised in Williamsport and entered St. Pius X Seminary in Dalton shortly after his graduation from high school.  Monsignor attended The Pontifical North American College, Rome, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1977 by Bishop J. Carroll McCormick.  Possessing degrees from The University of Scranton and The Gregorian University, Rome, Monsignor also holds a Master of Arts in Spirituality from Creighton University, Omaha, and a Master of Arts in Liturgy from The University of St. Mary of the Lake, Mundelein, IL.


Monsignor has held the position of Vice-Chancellor of our Diocese, Spiritual Director and Liturgy Director at St. Pius X Seminary and administrator and pastor of several parishes throughout the diocese, including Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish, Scranton and Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish, Jermyn.
